I've Found The Good Stuff!

One thing about us women is that when we make a great discovery, we want to tell the whole world about it. Well, I have made my own discovery and I want to share it with you.

There's nothing I love than getting into a nice hot bubble bath after a long day. I really struggled to find bath and skin care products that are not only great but also affordable, until I accidentally stumbled across a bath range called Bee Natural by Good Stuff Skin Care Company.

One thing about me that I am not ashamed to admit is the fact that I am a cheap skate and the price tag always draws me to an item. True to my nature I was hooked!

At only R14,99 for the Wild Honey & Vanilla Youghurt Nourishing Body Wash, I went straight to the till.

I had a chat with Travis Graham from Good Stuff, The Skin Care Company who answered all the burning questions I had:

1. Give us a bit of history about Good Stuff?

Good Stuff was launched in December 2009, exclusive to South African retailer, Pick ‘n Pay. ‘Life-loving stuff’ is the brand idea, with Good Stuff being built on the insight “we’re all too busy living life to remember to enjoy it”.

Good Stuff delivers its skin-loving goodness via green stuff, scientific stuff, great smelling stuff, the best stuff out there. We promise that anything named Good Stuff will always do you good & feel really good to use.

2. What skin care ranges do you offer?

We currently offer a range of bath and body products. This range encompasses the following product types:

• Body Lotions
• Body Washes
• Foam Baths – including two moisturising two phase bath silks
• Hand Washes – including two hygiene variants, exceptional for kitchen use due to its grease cutting capabilities.
• Creams – including a hand and nail cream and a soft cream for body and face
• Soap Bars – including two 150g glycerine bars

We also offer five ongoing gift packs which are ideal for most occasions. Their reasonable price tags means that they make fantastic teachers gifts, gifts for colleagues, gifts for bachelorette parties etc.

3. Do you cater for both men and women?

Definitely, part of the Good Stuff range has been specifically developed with men in mind. Specifically for our male consumers we offer the following:
• 400ml Hydra Boost Body Lotion For Men
• 250ml and 400ml Be A Good Sport 2-in-1 Shampoo and Body Wash
• 250ml Full Force for Men Body Wash
Moreover, many of the products in the remainder of the Good Stuff range are both unisex and beneficial to both Men and Women’s’ skins.

4. What’s the price range?

Good Stuff is competitively priced and offers consumers great value across a broad spectrum of product categories. At entry level, our 150g beautifully fragranced soap bars retail for only R6.99. At the other end of the price spectrum, our 500ml Foam Bath and 400ml Body Wash value packs, both wonderfully fragranced and infused with beneficial extracts, retail for only R29.99.

Our ongoing gift packs are extremely reasonable and cater to everyone’s pocket. These retail for between R22.99 and R49.99

5. Where can people buy the Good stuff products?

Good Stuff is sold exclusively in selected Pick 'n Pay Hypermarkets, Supermarkets and Family Stores

6. I love the packaging, particularly the wording on the labels, how did that come about?

From the outset, we established that Good Stuff’s brand voice was to be unpretentious, keen witted and original. We therefore chose to translate this brand voice into simple, modern and unfussy packaging.

The wording on our packaging is not only witty and relevant, it also intentionally creates a strong association with all things ‘life-loving’. Consumers using our products should be encouraged to take time to enjoy the good things in life and forget the rest.

During development of the range, consumers consistently testified that the products had a wonderful effect on their skins and that the products were simply ‘good stuff’. We therefore chose to use this colloquial term as our brand name.
